For sale is a WW2 King's Own Scottish Borderers J L Turnbull Full Sized Medals, Miniatures & Document Group.
This medal grouping includes; Hand stitched leather Kairouan (Tunisia) embroidered bag which holds the medals and documents. Hand stitched and dated 1943. Mounted Miniature’s including in order; 1939-45 star, africa star, Italy star, France and Germany star, Defence medal & war medal. Full sized 1939-45 star Full sized Africa star Full sized Italy star Full sized France and Germany star Full sized Defence medal Full sized War medal King's Own Scottish Borderers cap badge The royal mews, Buckingham palace invitation & envelope to the queens stables dated 1st October 1958 and to J L Turnbull. Glasgow empire programme dated august 10th 1942. Nottingham empire programme dated 21st august 1943. This is a nice interesting grouping that would benefit from some further research.
