For sale is a Rare WW1 Period “In Memory Of My Dear Brother” Mourning Brooch Which Is Marked On The Back “Patent 3732/15 which is a 1915 Patent. This mourning brooch has a twisted gilt border, with a painted centre. The front of the brooch has the words “in memory of my dear brother” surrounding a grave & two angels. These mourning brooches were worn by family in mourning of a lost brother which could have been someone on was killed in action whilst serving in active service.
