About this item
A good original pair of British Army MT goggles and box as worn by drivers, tank crews, dispatch riders and more, throughout the Second World War.
The condition of the goggles is good; the strap retains a good amount of its original elasticity and the leather work is in good condition with some signs of wear and use. The metal frames are good with a lot of their original plated finish worn back through to the brass underneath. As is often the case with these goggles, the tinted lenses have some signs of delamination.
The goggles come complete with their original brown coloured hardboard box which is also in reasonable condition for its age.
Overall, a reasonably good pair of goggles which display well and could suit either a reenactor or collector well.
