RAF sunglasses, type F, cased
Stores reference 22G/1107. Size medium. Post WW2 issue. Introduced in the late 1940s these are virtually identical to the standard WW2 issue MK.VIII anti-glare spectacles/sunglasses. They have grey/green tinted lenses set in steel wire frames with side-arms terminating with sprung 'wrap-around' ear pieces. Stamped 'LOCL' (London Optical Co. Ltd.) and reference numbers. The frame is rather tarnished with pitting and some verdigris despoits and would benefit from a clean up. Good lenses and case. Stock code NIV-G.
