Awarded to Staff Nurse Miss Mary Chisholm she served with Queens Alexandria’s Imperial Military Nursing Service Reserve. British War Medal, Victory Medal with M.I.D. (S. NURSE M. CHISHOLM) and Q.A.I.M.N.S.R. Cape Badge. Staff Nurse Miss Mary Chisholm saw service in the Mesopotamian Theatre of Operations entering the theatre on the 11th June 1916. She likely saw service in Basra Military Hospital during her duration of service whilst in Mesopotamia.She was Mentioned in Despatches on the 12th March 1918 published in the London Gazette, awarded for distinguished and gallant service and devotion to duty.
