A great time capsule, comprising a boxed WW1 War and Victory medal pair and a boxed Silver War Badge with its award certificate.
The medals correctly impressed "T-1039 DVR O HARKNETT RA"
Untouched for whatever reason since they were dispatched to the recipient over 100 years ago.
With thanks to "B.P." who has provided the following information:
"Gunner Oliver Harknett enlisted in November 1915 and was discharged on the 20th September 1919. The SWB number is confirmed as being issued to him. He served with the 179th Small Arms Ammunition Column."
