Awarded to 81300 Private John William Locker who was Killed in Action on the 27th April 1918, whilst serving with the 15th BN DLI.
Comprising:
British War Medal, Victory Medal. “81300 PTE J W LOCKER DURH L..I”
Bronze Memorial Plaque “JOHN WILLIAM LOCKER”. This contained in original card cover.
Private John William Locker was born at Ashbourne Derbyshire in 1900 and volunteered for service in August 1917. He joined the 15th Bn in France on the 3rd April 1918 and was killed in action a few weeks later on the 27th April.
