    WW1 Scots Guards 1914 Mons Star Group of Three Medals.

    Awarded to “6405 PTE A. CORDINER SCOTS GDS”
    Comprising: 1914 Star, British War Medal, Victory Medal.

    6405 Private Arthur Cordiner a native of Edinburgh enlisted into the Scots Guards on the 17th January 1906. At the outbreak of the Great War he landed in France on the 5th October 1914 and he would see the whole war on the western front returning to the UK on leave 5th - 19th October 1918, and was finally posted from France in March 1919.
