WW2 Prisoner of War LSGC Medal Group to W/O BROWN from Andover. All full size genuine medals. War, Defence, 1939/45 and Africa medals un-named as issued. LSGC Although has edge knocks is correctly named to S/52272 W.O. CL.1. E.J. BROWN. R.A.S.C.
Reported missing on 29/6/1942. 13/10/1942 reported prisoner of war – Western Desert. 1943 Prisoner of war Italy, Military Hospital 201, Bergamo. 1945 prisoner of war Stalag 18A Wolfsburg. This also confirms birth town as Andover, Hampshire and date of birth 27/12/1911. Then no longer a prisoner of war.
