About this item
Here is a lovely deactivated Yugoslavian M49 SMG, The M49 is in appearance similar to the Russian PPsh 41 and even had an interchangeable magazine.
The M49 was officially used by the Yugoslavian peoples army between 1951-1975 but also saw use in the Vietnam, Gulf and Yugoslav wars.
Fed by either a 35 round box mag or a 71 round drum, the M49 chambered a 7.62 x 25mm Tokerev round.
All of our weapons at JP Militaria are deactivated in the UK and are stamped with either London or Birmingham proof marks.
The working parts move but this weapons cannot cock or dry fire as the bolt and spring are a dummy replacement.
