    WW1 Battle of Mons Period Royal Artillery Offers Cap.

    A scarce pre war, early Great War period cap tailored by Hawkes & Co of London. The cap is the regulation pattern, retaining original Royal Artillery bronzed cap badge and buttons, also with the correct pattern thin leather chinstrap. The interior with full leather lining and paper label with name Sanders. The overall condition is good retaining a very good shape, slight moth nips. The Hawkes spring to the front which lifts the crown remains in working condition.

    This style of cap was seen been worn in France during early stages of the war 1914-15 period
