WW2 German Third Reich Early Luftwaffe Air Communications Branch NCO’s Cap.
A good scarce early example of grey woollen material. The welt of the crown and the black cap band edged with brown piping. To the front, an early style droop aluminium Luftwaffe eagle and swastika; below aluminium winged oakleaf wreath with cockade to centre. Black leather chinstrap supported by black buttons. Fibre peak with bound edge. The interior with leather sweatband, the underside with a Berlin Tailors stamp. Retains partial celluloid diamond with name tag. Good shape and clean condition.
