About this item
This is a nice untouched helmet, with the 3 small holes drilled on both sides to recognise it had not passed balistic testing so was not suitable for front line duty . Grey blue painted crown . Black treated linen liner with the frame dated 1940 . Second pattern rubber cruciform crown pad, This pattern were used by everyone else including factories, A.RP and Wardens . Minor wear and scratches.
