    Officer's double looped badge believed to be of the type produced in Austria  at the end of the war and copied from the firmin made badges.This is a low content silver and gilt example, one of only a handful known of this type of badge.  The 23rd Hussars were raised in 1940 and disbanded not long after the war ended.
