Another from a superb collection of Brodie helmets is this Mk11 1940 dated example by RO & CO: Rubery Owen & Co Ltd of Leeds.
The shell is in excellent condition, free from dents or other damage and with virtually all of the matte Khaki finish intact, the net with just two or three small area of separation. Under the rim are the clear stampings ROCo BD and 1940.
Both chinstrap fixings are 1940 dated, the chinstrap itself in very good condition.
The liner is very good with light surface cracks but no damage, the red fibre liner band marked 7, 1940 and CCl ( Christie &Co Ltd. London.
