1943 Dated Airborne Parachutist Trooper's Maroon Beret with Ox & Bucks Light Infantry badge on green felt backing. Leather edge. Faint stamp British Beret basque Ltd 1943 and War Department stamp N over WD over 419. Size 6 3/4 . Surface moth tracking (no holes) moth free condition. The battalion landed in Normandy , June 6th 1944.
