RAF / Royal Navy Mk11 Brodie helmet 1940 Dated

A Mk11 British Brodie Helmet field repainted in a flat grey most generally associated with use by the RAF or Royal Navy.

The shell is dated 1940 and is in very good undamaged condition with loss to the flat grey paint typically associated with service use.

Inside, the oil cloth liner is very good and remains supple and without splits but missing it’s drawstring. The fibre bands are red in colour with the TTC stamp, 1940 and 6 ¾ . There is some distress to the chinstrap which is generally good.

Ideal for an RAF airfield or Normandy landings display.
