    RFC WW1 BRITISH OFFICERS FLOPPY STYLE TRENCH CAP. BELONGED TO AN OFFICER KILLED IN ACTION.

    British RFC Officers WW1 'floppy' style Service Dress Cap. Brass Royal Flying Corps cap badge with tailors label of G.E. Falmer of Cambridge. Quilted spiral lining. leather sweatband and correct narrow leather officer's chinstrap. In excellent condition (free from moth). Cap size 6 3/5.

    Named to intereior 2nd Lt T.H. Laing. Thomas Harry Laing was an observer in the 55th Bimber Squadron  K.I.A. on the 30th August 1918 aged 19 flying in a D.H.4 A7972.
