About this item
WW1 British Brodie Steel Helmet.
A very good clean example of the B Pattern Brodie helmet the shell made by Frith & Sons Ltd who supplied helmets from 1916. The shell retains its original green textured paint and the interior with oilcloth lining. Complete with original leather chinstrap, which retains a good colour and is supple. The underside of the lining with the pink Brodie stamp. Cushion to the interior crown, covers the rubber ring, which is present. Small amount of moth to the felt cushion, otherwise a superb clean example of the pattern. VGC
