WW1 British Divisionally Badge Brodie Helmet. Russian Relief Force.
This is a sleepy shed find original B pattern Brodie Helmet retaining to both sides a large white painted five pointed star. The interior with a post 1917 rubber crown ring and retaining original oilcloth lining and leather chinstrap. Also can be seen the original owners initials of “JL” The shell is rusty and leather dry. Original as found condition.

A small number of Battalions used the white star devise, but looking at this helmet the position and size of the white star, I feel this was worn by a member of the Russian Relief Force 1919.
