    WW2 Home Front Attributed Tommy Helmet.

    This helmet is attributed to Mr Alfred Sears of Walthamstow who was employed on the London Buses as a Conductor.

    A good example of the home front pattern hemet with three small holes to the shell. This with a grey painted finish and stamped 1940. Complete with lining and web chinstrap. The interior of the shell with the name A Sears 24A Higham St. Walthamstow E17. The overall condition is good but remains dusty as found.

    The 1939 Register confirms the address to the inside of the helmet and occupation.
