    About this item

A good, late Victorian Hip Flask with leather body and silver plated mounts.

This type of hip flask was a popular private purchase item with officers during the late Victorian period, through to the First World War.

This example is marked on the cap, and cup, with the makers marking for James Dixon and Sons, a well reknowned Sheffield maker of gentlemans accoutrements.

Generally very good unpolished condition, measuring almost six inches tall.
