About this item
An original British military nurse's gown dating from the 1960s and in good condition.
This wrap overall is made from an olive drab coloured cotton twill and features a white cotton tape which fastens around the waist. The top fastens around the throat with buttons and more buttons are found at the cuff. Pockets are located to each hip allowing access to clothes worn underneath.
There is no issue label or markings but a piece of card has been attached to the front with the garments title written on it in ink. It reads 'Gown Nursing Field Force Units SIze Med'
When laid flat it measures -
Chest - 22"
Inside arm - 23"
Outside arm - 24"
Shoulders - 18 3/4"
Length - 40 1/2"
The gown is in good condition with no signs of serious wear or use. There is some staining and one of the cuff buttons is slightly broken. Please study the pictures before purchasing.
