About this item
An interesting tunic to an Honourable Captain Borthwick of the KRRC. Complete with all black regimental rifle buttons, wound stripes and overseas service stripes. Tailor's label Hawkes & Co, Savile Row, London. In good overall condition. Little wear or moth.(Strange line of small evenly spaced holes to lower centre which appear to be the result of barbed wire entanglement.)
Size: Tunic 38 inch chest and 19 inch underarm
Captain Borthwick captured in the Ludendorff Offensive. The 7th Battalion Kings Royal Rifle Corps on 21st March 1918 "Captain Hon. W. Borthwick (C Company) severely wounded, and in the hands of the enemy"'
