Khaki drill single breasted open collar tunic .Pleated chest pockets and lower bag pockets all with buttoned flaps. Gilt and enamel Lieutenant shoulder rank . Gilt The Leinster Regiment removable buttons . Minor service wear .
The Regiment was disbanded in 1922 . 1st Battalion arrived in France in December 1914, but in November 1915 they were posted to Macedonia. In September 1917, they moved to Egypt and Palestine for two years, and at the ended the war to India. Also raised two service battalions (6th and 7th Battalions),that served in Gallipoli, Salonika and Palestine.
