    Nickel silver hilt featuring small ovoid guard with beaded edge and integral blade ferrule;
    large decoratively pierced faceted pommel with red background.  Waisted grip with twisted
    silver wire and woven textile wrap.  Straight tapering hand-forged 12" single-edged blade
    with 5 narrow and shallow fullers, the edge and point very sharp.  Blade shows lamination
    and some age staining.  Original wood scabbard with green fish skin wrap (upper portion of
    seam open) and long nickel silver drag.  Overall length 15 1/4".  Nice quality dagger.
