An original British Army issue machete, by S.J. Kitchen of Sheffield.. This example is dated 1943, and carries the broad arrow marking.
Housed in the correct pattern machete scabbard, dated 1940.
This particular example was carried in the Far East by an officer serving with the Indian Engineers.
