Antique Kukri For Restoration

A good late 19th, or early 20h century kukri, in need of some cleaning and restoration.

This example with a 13 inch blade with twin spine fullers. Damage to the tip, and will need to be reprofiled. 17 inches overall.

The blade and bolster covered in old grease, rust, and grime, with areas of dark staining and old pitting/corrosion.

Wooden grip with carved central grip ring with and old glued crack/split. Iron pommel plate.

Housed in its original leather covered wooden scabbard with some losses, and a split to the cutting edge. Pouch pocket to the rear. The whole holding firm, but in need of some attention.

No movement between blade and grip.

I suspect the whole will improve greatly if given the correct TLC.
