    About this item

Scarce British Indian Army machete, based on the Burmese Kachin Dha, known officially as the DAH MK III.

Blade maker marked "GNF" and dated 1945, along with "November GNF 44".  These are stamped with the pattern designation "DAH MK III". I've not encountered this maker marking before. Inspection stamps to either side of the wooden grips

Housed in a standard machete scabbard, maker marked and dated 1944.

Blade length 13.25 inches. 18.5 inches overall.

A good clean example of this distinctive and scarce sidearm.

Strictly over 18's only. Photo ID will be required before this item can be dispatched.
