A good used example of the British Type 'D' survival knife.
The hardwood grips secured with three large copper rivets. Correctly marked with the stores number 1278214, and "JR" mark, likely for Joseph Rodgers of Sheffield. Broad Arrow and the date 1986.
Heavy, seven inch single edged blade with signs of sharpening, polishing and service wear.
Complete with it's original leather sheath.
A good example, with some light rust, which will improve with some TLC.
