    About this item

A fascinating sword, produced utilising an Indian Khanda basket hilt, married to an English 1796 Light cavalry troopers blade.

Quite possibly used by a native cavalry officer during the Raj, as photographs exist of Indian Army units carrying such Khanda hilted swords.

Generally very good condition, signs of wear and use as one might expect, with a dark patina to the 33 inch blade.

Blade length 33 inches, 43.5 overall.

An unusual sword, for the specialist collector.

    Strictly over 18's only.
