About this item
A good example of a late Victorian Military Kukri
A good late Victorian or early 1900's Nepalese military issue kukri.
The wooden hilt with steel bolster has at some point been painted black, which may indicate WW1 issue. No butt plate.
13 inch blade with twin spine fullers. Some old grease, signs of sharpening, and light rust, but generally in very good condition. Looks like markings to the spine have been removed.
17.5 inches overall. A small crack to the wooden grip, but no movement
Leather scabbard wooden core beginning to split along the spine and cutting edge, but solid overall, with signs of orignall having a khissa pouch to the rear, now absent.
A good old warrior, which will improve with some TLC.
Strictly over 18's only. Photo ID will be required before this item can be dispatched.
