    Scarce British Indian Army machete, based on the Burmese Kachin Dha, known officially as the DAH MK III.

    Blade maker marked "GCF" and dated 1945. Inspection stamps to either side of the wooden grips.

    Housed in its distinctive open back scabbard, stamped 1945, made at Cawnpore Arsenal.

    Blade length 13.25 inches. 18.5 inches overall.

    A good clean and lightly used example of this distinctive sidearm.
