About this item
A good original example of the hard to find Wooden hilted Fairbairn Sykes fighting knife.
This variation is often associated with Burma, and the RAF.
A well used and carried example, this knife has cracks in the wooden grip, and a bend in the blade. It looks as if it was used to lever open a crate. This has made the crossguard slightly loose. This example also has an unusual but completely original heavy brass pommel, which actually works well to counterbalance the otherwise light knife.
Housed in a correct 3rd pattern type leather sheath with retaining elastic in place and intact. The tabs have been period removed.
A good authentic carried knife, which won't break the bank.
Strictly over 18's only. Photo ID will be required before this item can be dispatched.
