WW2 Italian MVSN Fighting Knife

An original, well used example of an WW2 Italian Fascist MVSN (Milizia Volontaria per la Sicurezza Nazionale ) Fighting Knife.

This is the 2nd Pattern which was intended to be used as both a dress dagger, and a fighting knife, for use by the MVSN, who were better known as the "Black Shirts".

This example with little original finish remaining. It has the original wooden grips which have been nicely personalised, secured by twin rivets, and steel cross guard.

The 8.25 inch blade has no visible markers markings. It has been heavily service sharpened, and has some staining. It measures 12 inches overall. 

Housed in its original steel scabbard which has also been personalised. It retains its correct fixed belt loop to one side, and "MVSN" with Fasces symbol to the other. The scabbard carried many dents, but is a good fit. 

By no means a mint example, but completely authentic, and carried example.
