For sale is a WW1 British Silver War Wounded Badge To John A Lane Royal 7th Battalion Warwickshire Regiment.
This war badge/ wound badge is engraved on the back 221413. John Alfred Lane served as a private in the 7th battalion royal Warwickshire regiment during ww1. His service numbers were 4491 and 201954. John enlisted into the British army on the 22nd of November 1915. John first served with the British army at home from the 22nd of November 1915 until 22nd of May 1916 (182 days), he then served in France from the 23rd of May 1916 until 14th of December 1916 (206 days), and then served the remainder of his service at home from the 15th of December 1916 until the 27th of December 1917 (1 year 12 days). A total of 2 years and 35 days service. John was discharged from the British army on the 27th December 1917 after being wounded in action aged 27 years of age. Accompanying this medal is six scans of his service records. Upon payment please let me know if you would prefer digital scans or printed copies.
