British Army wool serge original 1918 WW1 trench cap. Stitched peak, narrow braided brown leather chin strap. Complete with KRRC (Kings Royal Rifle Corps) cap badge and KRRC buttons. Minimal wear in excellent condition. Original paper Hobson & Sons , London 1918 dated paper label and WD stamp (4 over WD over P) Size 6 7/8. "Yellowish mustard coloured cotton lining" as described page 151 (British Uniforms & Equipment by John Bodsworth)
