Original WW2 Women's Royal Ordnance Works Khaki Cotton Cap

An original women's Royal Ordnance Factory Workers cap dating from the Second World War. 

These caps were worn by women working in munitions factories and similar during WW2. It is made from a khaki coloured cotton drill and features an elastic section to the rear to help secure it on to the wearers head. 

The interior of the cap features the ROF stamp and the War Department broad arrow marking. 

The cap appears to be in unworn, unissued condition and displays very well. 

A nice Home Front item which would make a great addition to any collection.
