Royal Marines Helmet Plate. A nice brass period (KC) example depicting a Kings Crown above a scroll with the word ‘GIBRALTAR’on a five pointed star. At center a globe surrounded by the motto ‘PER.MARE.PER.TER.RAM’. Surrounded by a wreath of laurel leaves and at bottom a small anchor. On reverse two lugs present.
