Canadian Made Royal Flying Corps Breeches

A very scarce pair of Canadian made Royal Flying Corps other ranks Breeches.

Constructed in the standard heavy serge the Breeches have a four button closure (one missing) with five identical steel buttons around the waist. There are two horizontal slash pockets at the front, the internal pockets of which have been replaced.

There is a poorly executed repair below the left knee and one small area of damage above that. Each leg is closed at the bottom by two further steel buttons.

A fragmented paper label remains on the inner waistband  and seems to be headed Royal Flying Corps for a height of 5’5” and waist size of 32”. Toronto can just be made out.
