A very good and scarce example of the 1855 Pattern Sappers and Miners Bayonet, for use with the Lancaster Carbine.

The whole bayonet is in good, untouched condition, with working catch.

Complete in its brass mounted black leather scabbard. 

Having never previously been in a collection, the whole will benefit from a light clean, polish, and a "feed" to the leather.
