A lovely example of a pair of Sterling Silver USAAF Glider Pilot’s Wings by LGB.

Far less common than most of the US Aircrew wings this piece displays the original polished highlights with of course the “G” within the centre shield and is completely without damage.

To the reverse the pin is secured by a roll over security latch, the back of the shield with Sterling and LGB (Lloyd Garfield Balfour)  a popular manufacturer with US wings collectors.
