An attractive example with the favoured orange grip with twisted aluminium wire.

The pommel shows virtually no wear to the Swastika and oak leaves pattern. The grip is very good with just two hairline cracks above the ferrule, the ferrule itself sitting at a slight angle to the crossguard on the right side.

The crossguard is very good but the blade is quite exceptional and virtually mint.

The Scabbard is a little less pleasing with obvious damage from having been caught in a door a few centimeters from the tip resulting in denting and a small split along the side.
