WW1 RFC, RNAS, Early RAF Pilot Trigger Gloves.

A very rare original pair of Pilot or Observer Trigger flying gauntlets. Light brown leather typical of the type worn, retaining wrist straps, with correct open pattern press studs. The interior with wool lining. Tailored with mitten, forefinger and thumb. The gauntlets have had heavy use with some period repairs and faults.
I have left them just how I found them. This is one of the rarer patterns and did not tend to find there way into post war civilian use.
