A good late Victorian/Edwardian example. The badge appears to be silver, but untested by me, and I've made no attempt to remove it to check for hallmarks. 

A good original ensemble (one strand of horsehair lodged under the badge!) not one of the nasty modern reporductions currently doing the rounds.
