A rare sized NS68 M42 Single Decal helmet with a lot number of 2772.

The shell is completely without damage and retains virtually all of the original factory blue / granulated factory paint finish, the single Luftwaffe decal with only a small amount of loss from light service use.

Inside, the stampings are clear, the liner band fitting well against the shell. The leather tongues are marked 60, the leather itself having suffered somewhat as is often the case with those made of sheepskin.

The liner drawstring is in place but there is no chinstrap.
