An original British Air Crew Europe Star, with length of original ribbon. There is a patch of slight discolouration on the rear where the medal has previously been stuck into a frame by the look of it.  Included are a number of photographs showing the details of the medal, which will enable comparison with the excellent North East Medals guide for spotting fakes (https://www.northeastmedals.co.uk/britishguide/aircreweurpestarcopyfake.htm).

In particular note the shape of the E's, the positioning of the W and the 4 and a helf jewels in the centre of the crown, but there are many other details as well, which you can check on the guide above.
