An excellent an apparently unissued pair of RAF Silk Gloves for wear under the gauntlets for added warmth.

Still tacked together ready for issue, both are in excellent condition and free from marks or damage. Both have Air Ministry stamps and Ref. No. 22c/259 Con.No.6/Stores/23779/C B.22(?) Size 8

I can find no date and although the 22c number predates the 1933 pattern gauntlets, the number would not have changed until the pattern did. Nevertheless undoubtedly WW2 issue and most probably early so ideal for an early war collection.
