This variation is often associated with Burma, and the RAF.

Old fabric taped repair to the hilt, signs of cracking and loss although solid. Some movement between the hilt and blade. 

The cross guard and blade retaining good colour and shape. Worthy of restoration.

A good authentic carried knife, which won't break the bank.
