Mid 19th Century American Cartridge Pouch And Strap in black leather .  The full front flap stamped "US".  Internal secondary pouch flap stamped "W H Jones Sub Inspector US Ordnance Dept." And the front with small percussion cap pouch.  Rear of pouch with loops and buckles and fitted with a black leather similar period shoulder strap.
